Snow Video

I've been under the weather since returning home from the snow. Rowan also seems to not be feeling well either. Keeping a close eye on him though. Here is a video of Rowan playing in the snow (apologies for the camera shakes,  I am still learning). Declan makes a small appearance at the end of the video =)

Vacation

The cats did well in the car on the way up. It was the longest trip Declan has been on since I've gotten him. When we got in, the cats settled in nicely. Rowan wanted to go out and explore right away. The house we rented has a nice wrap around deck on the 2nd floor that was pretty secure for the cats so I let him outside. Today I let them out on the lower level to explore. Enjoy the pics.

Snow Trip

We are getting ready to head to a rental house for a weekend of snow and fun! Of course I gotta bring the whole family (cats and dogs included). I will post pictures of everyone enjoying the snow once they get acclimated to the house and I feel comfortable with letting them outside to explore. Until then, here are the cats in their new snow jackets.

New Stuff

I ordered some toys on amazon because they had some amazing prices on things. I haven't received everything yet but have gotten several items. I ordered the "da bird" wand toy because I have been hearing about it everywhere. For $12 I got the wand and feather toy, a spare feather toy, and 2 alternative attachments for the wand. The cats love them all! The feather end spirals in the air and looks so realistic-they go completely nuts! I also ordered a peacock feather (real one) and they also like that. Finally I ordered a behind the door climbing/jungle gym type thing. It literally  just hangs off the door and gives the cats 5 different layers to jump and play in. It is filled with hidey holes that they love to chase each other through. The thing is-I ordered one for around $100-but they made a huge mistake and sent me a pallet of 4...big score! I am not sure exactly what I will do with the extras, but I am stoked!

Big Fall

On Saturday the boys were enjoying their feather wand toys. In an attempt to get Row to show his amazing retrieving skills we threw his feather toy on top of the perch, but the toy got stuck up there. Rowan of course ran up to get it anyways leaned too far over and slipped off. He took the bed that sits up there on the perch with him, clenching it as he fell to the ground. Luckily he was okay, mostly knocked the wind out of himself. Only injury was a rug burn on his lip. Not sure how that was caused since we have hardwood floors, but I am just glad my baby was okay!

Yesterday I found some peacock feathers at the fabric store...of course all the cats loved them, but most of all Nori...

Today I hit up PetCo and got the cats and dogs some new toys and food:

Happy Valentines Day

In honor of Valentines Day, here are some cute loving pictures of the cats together. Some are of Rowan in the middle of our Valentines Day goodie bag making and there is even an adorable video of Rowan and Nori being sweet with each other.

Cleaning

We lost our comcast remote...looked EVERYWHERE for it, but it just disappeared. Finally it came to us that the couch probably ate it. So we took apart the sectional to search. Turns out it was inside the couch! Found lots of other goodies as well, such as a winning $10 lotto scratch it, cat collar, coins, 6 pens, and 2 comcast remotes (this is not the first one we've lost LOL). Anyways, this led to cleaning under the couches and cushions; of course the cats were not sure what to think about the changes, but eventually they decided it was pretty fun.

Kitties over the weekend

Obviously it was a pretty stressful weekend for Nori...

The boys had fun too...didn't seem to care about the new toys I got them, instead they wrestled over a paper bag...
