I did some reorganizing of my room over the last week. Spring cleaning was definitely under way! The cats were into everything that I was doing, including getting into drawers in the bathroom that I was cleaning and organizing. I remembered a time when Nori would climb (rather jump) on top of this certain cabinet in my bathroom before I had the bengal boys. She used to get up their with Liam before he passed away, but since he left she never goes up there anymore. Rowan always cries while sitting underneath that cabinet wanting to get up...he never figured out how to get up there on his own so I would always have to reach him up high and place him up there. Anyways, I wanted to make things more user friendly for them so I put in another cat walk. I also purchased a couple cat beds for them to lay on up there. They never had cat beds before because they just dominate my furniture, but they seem to really enjoy them. One of the beds I put up there has a dangling feather...Declan tried his hardest to murder it last night and I was certain he was going to roll off the cabinet...luckily he didn't!

They just climb the behind the door cat jungle gym, hop onto that first step and make their way across to the land of beds. My bedroom doesn't have a door separating it from the bathroom so it works I guess. The step I installed over my walk in closet is much wider that the ones in the living room. This serves as a turn around spot which I realized is necessary with this strong minded cats. There are often traffic jams in the living room and they can only turn around at the perch so this seems to work nicely.
I originally bought 3 beds, hoping to fit them all up there (one for each cat), but only 2 fit. The extra bed is very popular between all 3 cats.
Rowan was trying to catch some Z's, but Declan was fascinated by the tag on the bed...
