Now it's a 1 bengal show

So last week Declan got a new home. I have been considering re-homing him for some time and tried but it failed. I did not want him to just go anywhere and I was hoping by some miracle that he and Nori would get along when he came back home, but of course she was just being horrible to him. Since he is still a kitten I knew he had the best chance of finding a good home. I posted the kitten up also since he also needed a permanent home and by chance I started talking to a great family that seemed genuinely interested in finding a cat for their family and giving it a forever home. After many conversations via text it seemed that Declan would be lucky to go home with them. A few days later their entire family came down to meet him and fell in love with him. Turns out they took both Declan and the kitten (although the kitten went to their with their parents). He seems to be adjusting quite well to his family and I get lots of updates and pictures which has made the whole process almost pain free. I don't feel guilty because he is the king and being treated very well, plus they promised I could have him back if it didn't work out (but I think they are sold on the bengal breed and don't think he is going anywhere). Here are some pics from his new family =)

I will say that Nori definitely notices he is gone. I do not know why she never adjusted to him, however she is a purring little thing now. It is nice to have peace in the household...that's for sure!

Rowan doesn't seem to notice that he is gone. They got along, but as Declan got older Rowan seemed to be more independent and would wonder father away from home to do his own thing, where as Declan would stay pretty close.

A BIG thank you to the Maddox family for giving Declan a fantastic home!
